11:00am, 64°F, plants are outside

I’ve been busybusybusy lately, though I guess that’s nothing new. I’ve been lax in tending to the balcony garden, too, though, and I still have a lot to get done with it. Eek. I had not been faithful in reapplying the cayenne pepper and the pepper flakes. I was taught a lesson for this laxness, when a nice little red strawberry that had been growing disappeared.

But at least there are more berries still growing! You can bet that I reapplied the hot pepper and will be on high squirrel alert from here on…
