7:55am, 53°F, most plants outside. (Peppers & tomatoes inside.)
Yeah, yeah, I’m having too much fun with the puns. In any case, the thyme is doing much as it was. I used some in cooking the other day– an experimental attempt at mozzarella-tomato-herb muffins. Unfortunately, they mostly tasted like nothing and I had to get some marinara sauce to dip them in. But still! I’m trying to work in the herbs I grow more into my cooking.
There was a lot of rain yesterday, and I’m hoping it was good for the plants out on the balcony. I now have them arranged, more or less, the way I want them to be out there, though I’ll still likely do some tweaking, especially since there are more things I need to put into pots and such. But for now, it’s looking pretty good, and the plants all seem to be perking up from the winter indoors, so I’m pleased. The arrangement seems to work; I don’t have a lot of shade but the shadier stuff gets as much of it as possible, and the rest all has a nice amount of sun. Woohoo!
